In addition to its traditional courier delivery services, ZIP Delivery has recently supplemented its fleet of pickup trucks with three large bobtail trucks in order to offer efficient and economical delivery of larger freight. ZIP Delivery makes the process easy by providing skids, pallet jacks, tarps and shipping pads when needed, so all you have to do is call in your delivery, then sit back and relax.
Pricing for bobtail deliveries is broken down based on the urgency behind the delivery: 90 Minute, Economy and Next Day. A 90 Minute will be delivered in 90 minutes, an Economy will be turned around in 3 hours and a Next Day will be delivered by 4 pm the day after the job is called in.
Additionally, bobtail deliveries are charged based on the location in which the freight is picked up. The locations are broken down into four zones:
Zone 1:
Addison, Carrollton, Dallas, Farmers Branch, Highland Park, Irving, Richardson and University Park
Zone 2:
Balch Springs, Coppell, Desoto, DFW Airport, Garland, Mesquite and Plano
Zone 3:
Allen, Bedford, Cedar Hill, Colleyville, , Duncanville, Euless, Flower Mound, Grand Prairie, Grapevine, Highland Village, Hurst, Lancaster, Lewisville, Mesquite, Plano, Rowlett, Sachse, Southlake and Sunnyvale
Zone 4:
